Evening at Pumpkinferno
Hello friends, and welcome to my blog
Today I want to tell you about Pumpkinferno. Pumpkinferno is a great family-friendly event for the Halloween season. Located at Discovery Harbour in Penetanguishene, ON. just a one hour drive from the GTA. The event is set by the water for a spooky experience. The main attraction of Pumpkinferno is the carved pumpkins. As you enter the gates you approach a mural of zodiac signs created from hundreds of glowing pumpkins. This was my favorite piece of pumpkin art because i love astrology. Other exciting pumpkin art was the zoo exhibit , the under the sea exhibit, and the dragon and castle exhibit.

What I loved about Pumpkinferno is that there are other activities, including a haunted maze, similar to the one at Canada's Wonderland Halloween Haunt. This maze is definitely not meant for little kids because it is quite scary. My friends and I definitely let out a few screams. There are plenty of options for you if you were to bring children. For the very young ones there are haunted ghost stories and crafts, and for kids a little older there is a haunted maze with halloween inflatables so there are no jump scares. Another activity is the mechanical coffin, you get in a coffin, the top is closed and it shakes you back and forth to create the illusion you are being buried alive. I passed on that activity because being buried alive is not something i want to experience, even if it is just for fun.
