Can Skincare Be Fun?

Can Skincare Be Fun?
Maria T.
I know what you’re probably thinking. Why does skin care have to be fun? Just slap some moisturizing cream on your face and you’re good. However, I personally love everything about skincare, the different types of creams, the cute packaging, the purpose the cream serves, it’s such a pleasure to discover ways to make your skin look and feel like a baby’s bottom.
I’ve recently discovered my love for Korean beauty products. They check off all the criteria that I mentioned above, and it leaves my skin not only looking great, but feeling great as well. There has been a craze for a while about the 10-step Korean skincare routine and when I heard about it, I had to get in on this routine.

I have slowly but surely gathered a collection of amazing products I that I would recommend, especially for the winter time.
Skincare doesn’t have to be boring when you know the great benefits your skin will have afterwards. Your skin will look so moisturized, that you’ll look like a beautiful glazed doughnut. You can find products with adorable bright packing that will make your routine a look more fun.
Although my skincare isn’t a whole 10 steps, I’ve managed to put together an 7-step skincare routine that I think would greatly benefit those with dry sensitive skin.
Step 1: Remove Make       (Garnier Micellar water)
I use Garnier micellar water to remover my eye makeup and foundation with a cotton pad.

Step 2: Oil Cleanse    (The Face Shop – Rice Water Bright Oil Cleanser )

Step 3: Cleanse    (Goodal Premium Snail Tone-Up Cleansing Foam)

Step 4: Toner (Etude House Soon Jung Toner)

Step 5: Serum   (Skin Lab Red Serum)
This serum helps bring brightness to your skin while removing any hyperpigmentation and sunspots.

Step 6: Essence  (Etude House Moistfull Collagen Essence)

Step 7: Cream  (COSRX Snail 92 Cream)

  4. I'm such a huge fan of the 10 step process. It is so much easier to prevent than treat and that is true of anything. I also find the process a great form of self-care. It's relatively quick and the benefits are so wonderful!
