Great Start To A Day With Turkish Breakfast

Turkey is a country which has been a bridge between Europe and Asia for centuries. The Greeks, The Italians, The Jews, The Kurds or the Armenians have lived in here and have left a heritage for Turkish Cuisine. Turkish Breakfast is one of the most arty components of the cusine and as I used to be an early bird student in Istanbul, It was helping me a lot to stay strong during the day.

If you want to learn how It makes me strong, the answer is definitely the right food which include simit (circular bread , with sesame seeds), types of cheeses like kashar and  white cheese, egg in different styles like fried with Turkish Sucuk (Bologna), boiled egg or in our special style, Menemen (includes eggs, tomato, green peppers, and spices, cooked in olive oil). Variety of foods also makes Turkish Breakfast so healthy and delicious.

If you love pastries, far too numerous kinds of pastries you can find in our breakfast. My favorites are mostly with olives and patatoes and of course with an amazing Turkish Tea.

We also give a lot value to the spreading foods like jams and marmaledes. Especially my mother always makes them at home and we consume them during the year. We also love to mix some foods like honey and kaymak (a creamy dairy product similar to clotted cream, made from the milk and Tahina & Pekmez (a molasses like syrup obtained after condensing juices of fruit must, especially grape by boiling it withcoagulantagent). I’ll bet you that you will eat your fingers.

For more information, I put some helpful blog’s links in the below which are about great places to eat and variety of foods. Enjoy your mail!
